John Jackson qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2006 from Salford University, in the UK.
John has worked with a variety of elite athletes around the globe. Most recently John was the clinical lead for the Welsh Women’s National football team travelling with the team for over 2 years. John also does, consultive work for individual athletes ranging from professional footballer’s, GB shooting, GB Timber sport, International Ultra marathon runner’s, mountain biking and winter sports.
Prior to his work as a Physio John was a coach and coach educator at the National Watersports centre for Wales; specialising in white water kayaking, sea kayaking, windsurfing, dinghy sailing and power boating.
John has a solid background in strength and conditioning having worked with GB bodybuilding champions for 4 years before embarking on a career in physiotherapy.
John’s passion is for the outdoors in all it’s form’s but his main aim is to surf as much as possible. He has two boys who he tries to influence into watching football and going surfing as often as possible.
