Established in January 1999 by Geraldine Watkins and Sarah Roberts, Active VIII is a renowned centre of excellence for physiotherapy, sports injury and biomechanical solutions. Active VIII is based in the centre of the beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames, close to Townlands Hospital.
We treat people from all walks of life, from children through to the elderly and have a particular interest in Olympic, Great Britain and National sportsmen and women and recreational sports enthusiasts.
Active VIII has elite Sports Physiotherapists at Olympic, GB, England and/or Club level. They have been involved with a number of sports teams and individuals. They are, or have been involved with GB rowing, hockey, triathlons, lacrosse, motor cross, cycling, skiers, England Students Rugby and so on. Many of our physiotherapists have attended Olympic, GB, World, European, International or National sporting events.
We offer a wide range of Physiotherapy treatments for all musculo-skeletal problems. Providing a holistic approach, these treatments are usually used in combination and are tailored to your individual needs.
